At Truth + Beauty, in Roslyn Heights, we use the term Injectables. This is one of our signature words we use to describe one of our services that is an injection.

Neurotoxins

Neurotoxins are one of the most popular, nonsurgical options for solving aging skin problems. Clients enjoy many of the benefits of a surgical facelift without the downtime. Neurotoxin Fillers, also known as “injectables” fill in the area under the skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Neurotoxin injections act to block nerves from activating the facial muscles. When injected into the face, the target muscles are unable to contract normally. When the targeted facial muscles stop contracting, they stop pulling on the overlying skin. This causes fine lines and wrinkles to become smooth. Neurotoxins are particularly effective for eliminating lines and creases on the forehead and brow area.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are one of the most popular, nonsurgical options for solving aging skin problems. They enjoy many of the benefits of a surgical facelift without the downtime. Dermal fillers, also known as “injectables” fill in the area under the skin to restore collagen that is lost due to the normal aging process. Dermal Fillers consist of natural and synthetics. If you have sensitive skin you may want to consider natural dermal fillers. These fillers use ingredients already found in your body so they are less likely to react with your skin. FDA-approved natural fillers have either hyaluronic acid or collagen as the major active ingredient. They plump and correct the contours of the skin. They are commonly referred to as Juverderm, Voluma, Restylane and Belotero.

Packages

Our injectable packages including the True Liquid Lift and True Wrinkle Transformation are custom combinations of services reflecting the true artistry of injectables. All injectable packages include ice packs and a “two week tweak”. The True Liquid Lift is a combination of Botox and Dermal Fillers to relax and refill the skin to drastically form you back to your “true self”. The True Wrinkle Transformation is a combination of Ulthera ultrasound therapy, Botox and Dermal Fillers to relax, refill and reposition skin to drastically transform you back to the “true you”.

Sculptra Aesthetic

Sculptra Aesthetic is the only facial injectable designed to stimulate your own collagen with long term results, often lasting longer than two years. Sculptra Aesthetic will help your body regain your own collagen over an extended period of time. With this injectable, you can expect to see subtle, yet steady improvement in lines and wrinkles over time, resulting in a more youthful look. Many clients also utilize the Sculptra Aesthetic injections on the body as part of a “True Tightening Butt Lift”. Sculptra Aesthetic is a collagen stimulator, used to diminish facial wrinkles by restoring the underlying structure of the skin.
