What is the Technology?
Liposonix uses deep heating ultrasound technology to destroy unwanted fat cells. This High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) energy is used to penetrate through the skin layers and into the targeted fat tissue without harming skin or surrounding tissues. The custom contouring capabilities target and eliminate fat in troublesome areas. It is a spot reduction treatment that is recommended for specific pockets of unwanted fat.
What can I expect during the treatment?
Liposonix Fat Melting is designed to non-invasively reduce targeted fat pockets around your waistline without surgery. A Liposonix Fat Melting treatment takes between 30-60 minutes. During this time, clients may experience minimal to moderate discomfort, associated with a tingling and/or heat sensation. Some pulses of the treatment may be more painful or uncomfortable than others and this is normal. To maximize comfort, pain medication can be taken 30-60 minutes prior to the treatment. After treatment, bruising is common and typically resolves within 2 weeks. Minor swelling may last approximately 2-3 weeks. Redness may occur and typically resolves within a few hours.
What are the results?
The average waistline reduction after a single treatment is about 1 inch which is typically 1 dress or pant size.
