How does a HydraFacial work? What is the technology?
The HydraFacial uses Vortex-Fusion, the most advanced application of nutrients to the skin. The Hydro Peel tips are loaded with various serums, specially formulated to target and combat different skin complaints. The unique spiral design creates a vortex effect to easily dislodge and remove impurities while at the same time introducing hydrating skin solutions with potent antioxidants.
What can I expect during the treatment?
This facial is often described as a “cool paintbrush moving over the face”. The treatment is about 30 minutes and is broken down into 4 parts.
Step 1 – Cleansing and Exfoliation
Our Beauty Tech uses a small tool that opens up pores and sweeps the uppermost layer of makeup, debris, and dead skin cells away.
Step 2 – Acid Peel
A glycolic/salicylic acid peel is then applied. It is gentle enough that it only creates the faintest tingle.
Step 3 – Extractions
Instead of performing manual extractions, our Beauty Tech uses a vortex-extraction nozzle that acts as a vacuum to remove impurities.
Step 4 – Serum Application
The vortex-fusion tool infuses an antioxidant-and-collagen-rich serum into the skin to promote elasticity and hydration. Since there is no downtime, you may put on make-up and return to your normal activities after the treatment.
What are the results?
The HydraFacial will deliver clearer, more hydrated, younger-looking skin immediately. The serums are clinically formulated to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, congested pores, hyper-pigmentation, cell renewal, skin tightening and acne-prone skin. They are prescribed according to your skin care needs. The results are also excellent for reducing inflammation and Rosacea. Clients report visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain results.
